Why should you change your ways?

Foundation Scripture
2 Corinthians 7:10 (New Living Translation)

10 For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There’s no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death.
Supporting Scriptures
Luke 15:7 (NIV)

I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

Acts 2:38 (NIV)

Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Meditating Scripture
Acts 17:29-31 (NIV)
29"Therefore since we are God's offspring, we should not think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone—an image made by man's design and skill. 30 In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. 31 For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to all men by raising him from the dead."
God Bless You on Your Journey
Prayer
Father in Heaven, I pray that you help through my journey for change. Teach me your perfect ways and perfect thoughts. I pray that my thoughts become your thoughts and my ways become your ways. Thank you that I am forgiven when I make mistakes. Thank you that the Holy Spirit is present with me all the time when I cry out to Jesus. By faith I know that I will change to be more like Jesus. I pray this prayer in the mighty name of Jesus.
Amen

Angel of the Lord

Did you ever watch the news and wonder why several people will die the same way on the same day? According to the Bible these are all acts of the Angels of the Lord.
The bible cites Hagar, a slave of Moses as the first person an angel of the Lord appeared to.
Genesis 16:7
The angel of the LORD found Hagar near a spring in the desert; it was the spring that is beside the road to Shur.
Genesis19:15
15 With the coming of dawn, the angels urged Lot, saying, "Hurry! Take your wife and your two daughters who are here, or you will be swept away when the city is punished."
Exodus 12:29
29 At midnight the LORD struck down all the firstborn in Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh, who sat on the throne, to the firstborn of the prisoner, who was in the dungeon, and the firstborn of all the livestock as well. 30 Pharaoh and all his officials and all the Egyptians got up during the night, and there was loud wailing in Egypt, for there was not a house without someone dead.
The angel said to me, "These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his angel to show his servants the things that must soon take place

1 Chronicles 21:15
And God sent an angel to destroy Jerusalem. But as the angel was doing so, the LORD saw it and was grieved because of the calamity and said to the angel who was destroying the people, "Enough! Withdraw your hand."
2 Kings 19:35
That night the angel of the LORD went out and put to death a hundred and eighty-five thousand men in the Assyrian camp. When the people got up the next morning—there were all the dead bodies!

Psalm 34:7
The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.

Pay attention to how God is moving when you watch television! Then pray for a spirit of revelation and wisdom so that these angels do not affect you, your family, or friends in the future.

Free Spirit

Many of us identify ourselves as free spirits. There is only one true way to have a "free spirit". It comes by receiving Jesus Christ in your heart.

When you are ready say outloud:
Father in Heaven, I am ready to admit I want to have a free spirit. Jesus Christ come live inside of my heart and save me. By faith I believe that I am saved, In Jesus Name.
