Praising when you can't see it

Everything that you see is temporary. Your height, your weight, your job, whatever. However
2 Corinthians 4:18 tells us that what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Most of us go to work everyday and get paid periodically throughout the month. We trust our employer to pay us when they say they will because there are laws to protect the employee. So again we trust that we will get paid on time each month.

It's the same thing with God, he has promised to never leave us or forsake us. He has also promised Psalm 34:10....those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.

Just like we have to work to receive a paycheck. Those who trust God are also rewarded by all of the innumerable blessings he gives us.

One of the hardest things to do is say thank you before you receive something, because you don't know what it is going to be like.

However the bible instructs us in Hebrews 11:6 without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

I recently started praising Jesus before things happen and my prayers are now getting answered faster then they were before. I challenge you to try it.

Try it now:

Father in Heaven, I pray that you ______. I know that by faith you will get it done. God you have already blessed me with _____ and ____ so I thank you so much for being a such a giving and merciful God. In Jesus Name I pray.

Now close your eyes and say thank you Jesus 10 times.

The more people who believe with you the more powerful your prayer. Send your prayer request to admin@multipurposefaith.com

Flatter God

Who would think that God wants to be flattered? Why would a being that is Perfect and knows all things need to be flattered, but He wants to be at the center of your life. He wants to be involved in everything you do.

Therefore, it is important to acknowledge His presence. Something as simple as saying "Hey God thanks for getting me through that one" or "Wow I don't know what I'm about to get into but Jesus I need you to help me out right now".

For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow.

Since God's word is alive and powerful, use it to your advantage.

But once you use it Remember to thank God. Think about how you would feel if you always give out something to someone and they never say thank you. God will always help you through His Holy Spirit, but as thank Him continually to show your gratitude for what He has done for you.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.

Praise Him before you eat
The poor will eat and be satisfied; they who seek the LORD will praise him— may your hearts live forever!

When you have eaten and are satisfied, praise the LORD your God for the good land he has given you.

Praise Him when you are up against adversity

Psalm 18:3 (NIV)
I call to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies.

Psalm 28:6 (NIV)
Praise be to the LORD, for he has heard my cry for mercy.

2 Corinthians 1:3 (NIV)
[ The God of All Comfort ] Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort

Meditation Scripture
Ephesians 1:3 (NIV)
[ Spiritual Blessings in Christ ] Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.

Share the power of praise with others!

Psalm 35:28 (NIV)
My tongue will speak of your righteousness and of your praises all day long.

Psalm 9:1
I will praise you, O LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders.

God Bless you on your continued journey to learn about the power of praising the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, for they are one.

God is ready to decrease your problems and increase your blessings

May the LORD, the God of your fathers, increase you a thousand times and bless you as he has promised!

Deuteronomy 7:13(NIV)
He will love you and bless you and increase your numbers. He will bless the fruit of your womb, the crops of your land—your grain, new wine and oil—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks in the land that he swore to your forefathers to give you.

Deuteronomy 28:63 (NIV)
Just as it pleased the LORD to make you prosper and increase in number, so it will please him to ruin and destroy you. You will be uprooted from the land you are entering to possess.
You will increase my honor and comfort me once again.
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.
Meditation Scripture
1 Thessalonians 3:12-13 (Amplified Bible)
And may the Lord make you to increase and excel and overflow in love for one another and for all people, just as we also do for you,
So that He may strengthen and confirm and establish your hearts faultlessly pure and unblamable in holiness in the sight of our God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) with all His saints (the holy and glorified people of God)! Amen, (so be it)!

God delivers his people from all of their issues

For he has delivered me from all my troubles, and my eyes have looked in triumph on my foes.

Psalm 18:43
You have delivered me from the attacks of the people; you have made me the head of nations; people I did not know are subject to me.

2 Corinthians 1:9-11
He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, as you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many.

Jude 1:5
Though you already know all this, I want to remind you that the Lord delivered his people out of Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not believe.

Psalm 55:22
Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.

Matthew 6:33
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Remind yourself throughout the day. Lord Jesus I trust you....

The meaning of Righteous

Righteousness:
The Hebrew word for righteousness is tseh'-dek, Gesenius's Strong's Concordance:6664—righteous, integrity, equity, justice, straightness. The root of tseh'-dek is tsaw-dak', Gesenius's Strong:6663—upright, just, straight, innocent, true, sincere. It is best understood as the product of upright, moral action in accordance with some form of divine plan.

The New Testament continues the Hebrew Bible's tradition of the ethical (1 Thessalonians 2:10) and legal (1 Corinthians 4:4) aspects of righteousness, but adds the element that Jesus embodies righteousness, (Acts 3:14). According to the New Testament, Jesus came to the world to address the needs, not of "the righteous", but of "sinners," (Mark 2:17). Righteousness, like the Kingdom of Heaven, is God's gift through grace, (Matthew 5:6, Matthew 6:33).

2 Corinthians 5:21
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Prayer Alert: Our Prayers go out to Virginia Tech College

Yes there is still a God!

No one ever expects to drop their child off by car at college and then later pick their body up at the morgue. However, that is exactly what the parents of 32 students are going through right now.

Our prayers go out to the families. Seek comfort knowing that God is still in control.

2 Corinthians 5:8 (NIV)
We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it.

Your children have passed on to be with the Lord. Burying a child is the most difficult thing a parent can do and no one else understands your pain but God. Lean on Him for support.

Ways to deal with grief:

1- Cry out Jesus, ask why me and pay attention to how the Holy Spirit will reveal answers to you through other people or situations.
2- Seek a Christ Centered Parent Grief Group.
3-Reach out to your Church Pastor or start going back to church.
4- Meditate on God's scriptures, especially Psalms. God Will deliver you from your grief, if you let him.
5- Focus on another activity. A major part of the healing process is to get back into your old routine and starting new ones.

Father, we pray that you help these families deal with their tremendous grief by leaning on you for support and casting all their cares on you. We thank you that you a mighty and merciful God and through the Holy Spirit you will help them get through this. In Jesus Name, Amen

Start living a Victorious Life

Victory
Deuteronomy 6:24
The LORD commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear the LORD our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, as is the case today.

Deuteronomy 20:4
For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory."
Romans 8:28
More Than Conquerors
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

1 Corinthians 15:57
But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Father in heaven, I pray that you begin to give me revelation on how to begin living a victorious life. I understand that your word says that when I believe in Jesus Christ I will have victory in everything that I do and I am more than a conquerer. So I thank you that I will begin living my best life new. It's in Jesus name I pray. Amen

Free Spirit

Many of us identify ourselves as free spirits. There is only one true way to have a "free spirit". It comes by receiving Jesus Christ in your heart.

When you are ready say outloud:
Father in Heaven, I am ready to admit I want to have a free spirit. Jesus Christ come live inside of my heart and save me. By faith I believe that I am saved, In Jesus Name.
